Default The Joys of Freezing Rain....

What fun it was this morning to drive in freezing rain. Spin-outs all over the place. SUVs thinking they are invinceable! People riding your tail, flashing you with their bright lights for you to hurry up.

Ah....Winter....Makes the coming of Spring that more wonderful!

On dry normal days I am an 80mph Dood! On rotten winter days with slick conditions...I am definetly...OLD DOOD when I am driving.

I love cold weather. Here in Boston it was close to 0 the other day. I got lots of looks for walking around in a tshirt.

Some lady asked me where my coat was. "In my closet."

I love cold weather.

Dude you just reminded me. Once school was out I walk home like over a hill and down into the neighborhood. Was only drizzling right, all of a sudden i hear a crack like a fire cracker, a car back fire that type of sound. Than its a major downpour of freezing rain. Was just listening to my MP3 actually was having a good day so I walked through it not even bothering to open my umbrella. May seem weird but that downpour actually didn't affect my day just was happy walking through the rain listening to music. Silly Marylanders .

I was driving through some snow last week just before it started building up and the countryside was so pretty with a light dusting of snow I didn't encounter many idiots except for those nubs that insist on tailgating me.

I had to walk inbetween buildings at school a few weeks ago when it was -7 degrees outside. six 16 minute walks and to make it worse my roommate put water in my shoes....my only pair of shoes.

Well that is just plain mean.

Here is what you do....Take his toothbrush and clean the toliet everyday with it for a week....then tell him you did that. Even take a pic of you doing it. Make sure you keep your own toothbrush (your real one) hidden. Leave out a "dummy" toothbrush for him to see.

That will fix him from pulling that crap....

The weather in southeast England recently is sucking. In the morning its cold cold cold, and we're scraping the frost off our car windscreens and shivering in our coats. Then, during the morning (while I'm at school sitting in class) it warms up, and when we go outside at about 11:00 it's a really weird kind of dry coldness that just makes you want to move around a lot. And then at lunch, it's sunny, but there's a cold breeze. The sun comes out behind the clouds and says hi, then pops behind another cloud, then comes out again. And for the past few days, there's been some really light, dusty snow that melts as it hits the ground. All while the sun's still shining. When people walk out of school, it just looks like it's been raining everywhere, it's all damp and grey. It's almost like the Sun's a bit busy, but every time it's just about to get cold enough to proper snow he pops back and stops it. We've had pretty much no settling snow this winter. Grrrr.
